NOVELOG - New cooperative business models and guidance for sustainable city logistics – is a project coordinated by the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas / Hellenic Institute of Transport and funded by the European Commission (Horizon 2020). It has started in June 2015.
The scope of NOVELOG is the enabling of knowledge and understanding of freight distribution and service trips by providing guidance for implementing effective and sustainable policies and measures. This guidance will support the choice of the most optimal and applicable solutions for urban freight and service transport, and will facilitate stakeholder collaboration and the development, field testing and transfer of best governance and business models.
Panteia is responsible for the development of the NOVELOG Guidance Strategy on Business Models as a common framework to support the cities incorporate urban freight solutions (UFT) in their sustainable urban mobility plans (SUMPs), enabling collaborative schemes among private and public sector stakeholders, who participate in the decision-making and operation of UFT policies and measures in the city. Panteia will also contribute to several other tasks of the project, for the next 3 years.
