The BESTFACT project is now under full operation. On Thursday 21 and Friday 22 of June 2012, BESTFACT will organise its first international workshop. Menno Menist, director of Panteia/NEA, will be one of the first speakers.
The workshop is hosted together with ABN-AMRO bank and will take place at its premises in Amsterdam. In practice, BESTFACT intends to develop, disseminate and enhance the utilisation of best practices and innovations in freight logistics which contribute to meeting European transport policy targets: promoting the boost of competitiveness and decreasing the environmental impacts.
This first international cluster workshop will deal with the top issues, such as electric vehicles, energy efficiency, consolidation and collaboration. Well-known representatives from the private and public sector will present current examples of best practices and results in the areas of:
