Since 2020, Roeland works at Panteia as a researcher / advisor, at the Transport & Mobiliteit department. He has got a Master’s degree in Spatial, Transport & Environmental Economics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. During his thesis, Roeland did research on the economic value of cycling highways in the Netherlands. His qualities lie in doing research and statistical analysis and working with data. At Panteia, Roeland works on collecting, processing, monitoring and analyzing of data in several different projects, on both a national and an international level. He Is involved in several studies (in the field of TEN-T for example) for the European Commission, nitrogen calculations for inland waterway and maritime transport and several other projects in the field of personal and freight transport. In addition, Roeland has worked on, among other things, the Short and Medium Term Forecasts for freight transport and several BasGoed projects.
