Jacqueline Snijders studied international monetary economics at the University of Tilburg, and is employed at Panteia since 1988. At present she is senior project director and sales manager for the international research of Panteia in the economic and social field. Major clients are the various DGs of the European Commission and its agencies, and other international organisations such as the OECD and the ILO.  For more than 20 years, Jacqueline has managed and carried out a large number of national and international research and consultancy projects in the Netherlands and the European Union. The main subjects covered are entrepreneurship, SMEs, employment and social security, finance, innovation, export, diversity, internationalisation, administrative burdens, and policy development. In addition, she is specialised in project management of large international projects, and in evaluations and impact assessments for the European Commission. The vast majority of projects cover all 28 Member States of the European Union, and are carried out in close cooperation with local research organisations and researchers. Since March 2013, Jacqueline is appointed as executive director of Panteia’s international network: the European Network for Social and Economic Research (ENSR)(www.ensr.eu). This network covers research organisations in 32 countries (28 EU countries and EFTA).
